Meet Alexandra DiGiacomo
Alexandra is a PhD Candidate in Biology and Data Science Fellow at Stanford University. Her research focuses on using advanced electronic tagging and image analysis techniques to understand white shark movement patterns in Monterey Bay. She graduated from Duke University in 2020, where she studied Biology and conducted research in the Marine Robotics and Remote Sensing (MaRRS) Laboratory leveraging drone technology for coastal ecology. Alexandra is broadly interested in using emerging data-intensive approaches for ecology and sustainability.
